I was born and raised in the heart of Middle Tennessee, where my journey into the mystical and unseen world began. Even as a child, I felt deeply connected to the intuitive and spiritual realms—often exploring the mysteries of psychic phenomena and spirituality. These gifts were not fleeting interests; they shaped me, driving me to seek answers and understanding beyond the ordinary, while also nurturing a strong artistry.At the age of eight, my visions and dreams began to manifest in reality. One particularly vivid nightmare involved a faceless person we all knew—a family friend—wearing plaid and riding an ATV. In the dream, this person crashed, their face already bloodied. Traumatized, I shared the details with my mother. Shockingly, less than a week later, the individual purchased an ATV, only to wreck it and sustain injuries exactly as I had seen in my dream. This incident marked a turning point for my loved ones, who realized my abilities were far more than a child’s active imagination—they were profound and powerful.As time went on, my mother introduced me to folk healers and psychics in the area who guided me and helped me understand my gifts. One healer told me I was born blessed with extraordinary abilities and destined for great things. She taught me about herbs, healing prayers, spellwork, and folk healing traditions such as shamanism. In the 90s, these individuals performed their services authentically, out of their homes, relying solely on word-of-mouth to be known. Their wisdom was deeply rooted in global spirituality, fostering connections to ancestors, Mother Earth, and animistic, yogic, and sage-like practices. Later, my grandmother unknowingly gifted me my first tarot deck—a small but transformative moment that set me on my spiritual path.By the age of twelve, I was deeply immersed in spiritual practices and studies, performing tarot and psychic readings as I quickly grew into an adept practitioner. Growing up in an isolated environment marked by abuse and ostracism, I poured my energy into developing and discovering life’s truths. This was a pivotal time in my life—I faced constant bullying from friends, close family, and others in my small town. Despite these challenges, I remained flamboyant, wise, and free, which often alienated me further. At eighteen, my close family and I left behind our extended relatives and moved toward a better life with more open minds and opportunities. At the time, she never mentioned being an artist or a business owner, but Gaia communicated through me with clarity and purpose. My vision kept guiding me to repeat the phrase, “This current you’re in, or your current is changing.” Midway through the reading, Kelsey dropped her business card, revealing that she was behind “Current Studio,” a space that was just opening. Unbeknownst to me at the time, she was also planning to expand into a larger project that would later become Factory Obscura.The synchronicities of this reading were undeniable—every detail I shared resonated deeply with her journey and vision, despite our initial anonymity in this pop-up event among strangers. Kelsey was so impressed by the accuracy and potency of the reading that she later invited me to several events, which ultimately led to my involvement with Factory Obscura. This experience wasn’t just a testament to the power of intuitive guidance; it was a profound example of how the universe aligns paths and creates opportunities. I’ve also contributed to queer-safe spaces in Oklahoma City, performing tarot readings and art for charity as a Sister of Perpetual Indulgence through the OKC Sisters and featured in some of their instagram posts for proofing -2, -3 of which I performed readings for queer house-less alliances and queer community center spaces in oklahoma city along with building their website. The agency now takes a larger percentage from every reading, devalues psychics, and prioritizes fast-paced, high-volume models that reduce readings to fleeting transactions. It’s a superficial system designed more for their profit than fostering meaningful connections. These environments no longer serve the integrity of psychics or the seekers who genuinely yearn for spiritual clarity.Realizing this, I made the decision to break free from these oversaturated and disingenuous spaces. My work thrives on authenticity, raw connections, and the profound synchronicities of the universe—qualities that cannot be nurtured within the confines of corporate greed.
